Imagine the response in any other workplace if you called your colleague names in the middle of a meeting. A public apology for such childish behaviour is warranted @timtierney.ca.
Just now - Councillor @shawnmenard.bsky.social
is interrupted by Councillor @timtierney.ca while asking questions on Lansdowne.

Menard pushes back, then Tierney calls him an "asshole". This behaviour is unbefitting of a councillor, and demands an integrity complaint.

This morning, Mayor Sutcliffe held a press conference outlining the modified Lansdowne 2.0 recommendations before city councillors or the public had access to them. That’s unacceptable. Transparency and respect for Council should come before media rollouts.

Govt intervened way too early in the Air Canada strike, and it's caused chaos. If the strike had been allowed to play out for days, pressure increases on both employer and union to bargain. Instead, AC ran to govt to put their thumb on the scale, and now the natural balance is skewed

CUPE's Mark Hancock is prepared to be jailed for defying the Carney government's back-to-work order to force Air Canada to negotiate with flight attendants

Would be interesting if feds just announced now they will enact legislation requiring flight attendants be paid their hourly wage for all hours worked.

Both Tories and NDP have already said such a law should be passed. Only Liberals resisting.

How would that affect the dispute?

Reminder that the strike is about a women-dominated workforce doing unpaid labour while executives get huge bonuses. Carney's Liberals are exactly who we warned they were.

Today and every day, believe survivors.
