Ultimately the thing tech oligarchs want the most is a servant class, but servants are people with needs and desires and resentment for their masters, which they fear above all else. They want people they can own, command, kill or fuck if they so desire. They want people that can't say no.

Alt NPS has been sliding into being some flavor of Blueanon for some time. It's fiction for resistance liberals. They've managed to turn people's real, actual trauma and struggle into a kind of entertainment, another product to be consumed rather than injustice to be acted upon.
