I love that this is the post that reminds me that some film crew showed up to the neighborhood I grew up in to film a couple of scenes for a new Love Actually back when I was in high school. Unsure if it ever made it to theatres but that is a thing that happened.

Guys, as a ex call center employee, this is fucking DESPERATION BEHAVIOR.
Pizza and ice cream once may be an entire year's planned discretionary budget for a team, they do NOT value them enough to provide common comfort. If their doing this? Their not just scared, their TERRIFIED.

Spoke with a source who told me the call volume is so high, a call center for both Mastercard & Visa is bringing out pizza and ice cream so agents don’t quite amid the rush. Long waits are causing dropped calls.
