Also ICE is not targeting Bad Bunny, they’re targeting his fans because racial profiling.

the single best decision I’ve made about how I use this website is that I do not argue in my replies

I ignore it or I block people, nothing good ever comes of it

and I am just some guy and not the sin eater for every moderation decision

I recently explained to a K-pop group visiting nyc how they have all the permission in the world to stomp on lanternflies and their reaction reminded me how weird it is being in New York sometimes

The real generational divide is people who refuse to watch a video if it could be an article versus people who refuse to read an article if it could be a video

Don't let anybody hit you with some form of "I can't believe y'all are so easily distracted. The halftime performer doesn't mean anything."

Putting a global artist who won't even tour in the US bc it's not safe for his community & core fans on the biggest televised US stage matters.

More seriously, because I doubt he knows Ne Zha exists, this is someone thinking K-pop Demon Hunters is a Korean production rather than an American one.

This is because he’s a Ne Zha 2 hater I bet

You may know the software company Palantir as a contractor for ICE + the military. But in recent months, it's relaunched its merch store & said it wants to be a "lifestyle brand."

What does it mean for Palantir to be a lifestyle brand...? I unpacked it here:

Palantir Wants to Be a Lifestyle Brand
Defense tech giant Palantir is selling T-shirts and tote bags as part of a bid to encourage fans to publicly endorse it.

Maybe there’s not statistical evidence, but the entire world doesn’t live in urban areas, and even within urban areas there are only a few major populations of Jews. I did say sizable Jewish communities, for what it’s worth.

I think that’s very important in these times!

Whenever I post about being Jewish here people follow me assuming they’ll get some good, interesting Jewish content but I literally am here to bring some K-pop distraction into everyone’s grim af timelines

Deleting paranoia posts about Jewish fears that you breathe into existence and regret is the essence of being Jewish if you think about it.

I like being Jewish because if you celebrate the Gregorian and Jewish new years you get anywhere between 2-5 fresh new starts depending on your state of mind (& the four the Talmud says exist). When I lived in Hong Kong, I had six. It was the perfect amount of new years honestly.
