Like, I guess I could KIIIIIINDA see it getting a “so bad it’s good” cult following, but i always felt it didn’t even warrant that! It was the first I had ever heard of anybody speaking fondly of Tron and not using it as shorthand for “trash flop.”

Pretty confused by how TRON became a big-budget movie franchise. Was it a bit hit when it came out? No. Did it become a big hit on video/TV? Also no. Do people have fond nostalgic memories of it? Eh kinda but not really. Was it secretly great and critically acclaimed? No again

This woman who’s lived in Canada for 10 years, applied to the special program for family of Palestinian Canadians to bring her father, brother, 2 sisters, nieces and nephews to Canada from Gaza on the day it opened in Jan. 2024. There’s STILL no news about their request.

I don’t see Little Debbies that often, but I have been know to put away my fair share of Vachon snack cakes — a Canadian delight! Ah Caramels are the best, followed by May Wests and Jos Louis. We do not speak of the Passion Flakie.

Circus peanuts and those banana marshmallows, but they have to be kinda stale.

Also, sometimes, I crave the fast post-school, pre-baseball game latchkey-kid sandwich of my youth: one of my mom’s homemade dinner buns with ketchup, a piece of bologna and a slice of sharp cheddar cheese. Mmmboy!
