omg the actual patheticness of Dawkins running to Epstein's pal to tattle on Watson, who obviously Dawkins has beef with because Elevatorgate was the start of the end of his reputation
To add to this, Richard Dawkins (biologist). Complaining about Rebecca Watson. www.justice.gov/epstein/file...

This is particularly interesting because there is currently a case before the Scottish courts in which the TERFs are arguing for what Scottish Labour just promised, and the Scottish government is saying, ‘but we have to abide by the European Convention on Human Rights’.

"Late stage capitalism" - factors are combining to give us fewer and fewer options aside from "selling our labour to make capital more profitable". Social jobs, academic jobs, creative jobs, all increasingly precarious, while the cost of living continues to increase.

The reality that there are blurry boundaries between the two sexes and one can move from one to another more or less by choice is a deeply destabilizing one for people who believe in natural, unchanging hierarchies.

Trans women threaten patriarchy bc seeking to live as a woman voluntarily is anathema to the idea that men are superior.

Trans men threaten patriarchy bc if women were naturally inferior it would show - someone assigned female wouldn't be able to easily pass as male with a bit of testosterone.

On trans Bluesky, there are many posts circulating describing Epstein's anti-trans views and ties to prominent transphobes.

Anti-trans politics fit neatly into all of this because the existence of trans people threatens the idea that men are naturally superior to women.
These men hate the left, labor organizing, feminism, #metoo, and human rights movements because all of these are pushing for equality and accountability, presenting a threat to these men's ability to dominate and abuse with impunity.

I read this, and I almost regret it. What do you even do with the knowledge that Epstein wanted and was trying to engineer societal breakdown via far right populism bc he thought it would benefit his sex trafficking business?
I read thousands of pages of Epstein files this weekend trying to understand what he wanted out of his meeting with 4chan's Christopher Poole. Here's everything we know about Epstein's plans to dismantle the internet and, eventually, democracy.

1. This translates to “I will within days act to ensure trans women are placed in a situation where they’re at high risk of sexual assault and rape.”

2. Also, “What are trans men? Never heard of them.”
NEW: Anas Sarwar has said he would act to ban transgender prisoners from women’s jails 'within days' if he becomes first minister after the May election

What is it about being a highly educated person working at a place like the Financial Times that makes one think Arbeit Macht Frei? What is it about the thought of work being voluntary that makes one think we all will choose not to do anything? It's so frustrating to see them think they're so wise.
