We must understand that just because love is perfect does not mean the people we love are perfect.
A person can support you, care for you, love you deeply and still misunderstand and harm you. That isn’t evil, that’s just human.

Loving someone unconditionally does not mean you support their views. I love my parents unconditionally. It hurts me deeply that they saw Trumps anti-trans rhetoric and voted for him anyway.
