I made it to the first challenge level, at which point my husband walked past the computer and said, "It looks like you're watching a car crash in slow motion."
Opus Magnum is on sale so I finally picked it up

"Poob has it for you" is not satire. Companies really do be naming themselves baby words.

PS2 shovelware, my beloved
People who assign the label "slop" to the third similar game in a genre they see in a year would not survive the era of wii and ps2 shovelware

I'm convinced that a sign of getting old is how I keep buying new and fancy potato chip flavours, getting 1/3rd of the way through the bag and realizing I actually just want sour cream and onion.

I am lucky to live in Washington state where everyone votes by mail, but god I wish I could spit on an ICE agents shoes while I vote.
you personally have the ability to secure elections for yourself and your neighbors.

ICE is arresting legal immigrants and murdering American citizens. They have unlawfully arrested people in my community and responded viciously to peaceful protests.

There is no reforming such an out of control agency. Abolish ICE!

I made some golden milk correctly this time (turns out you have to heat up fresh ginger before you put it in a pot of milk). It's very nice and my upset stomach feels a bit better!

Okay I watched severance. Season 1 was a masterpiece. Season 2 was boring nonsense. Happy to debate
I’ve always been a big believer in trying out the “weird” thing. If I go to a restaurant and their big signature dish sounds terrible (a pizza with grape jelly and chocolate chips or a cheese burger with peanut butter) then it MUST be amazing. Because nothing that sounded that bad AND tasted…

For the most part, wearing masks to shield your identity to protect yourself from retribution is ceding the whole playing field to the fascists. Not indulging in the weird black ops security theater is itself a statement: this is our world and you don’t dictate how we live in it.
I don’t think this is a particularly hot take. As we keep telling a particular federal agency, wearing a mask generally indicates cognizance of guilt and an intent to do something illegal. Protest works best when done confidently and unashamedly
An entire generation of people raised on social media simply do not have an understanding of how the media, protests, and surveillance work.

My hottest take is that masks at protests are cowardly and have done absolutely nothing but make all protests themselves look unserious to neutral parties.

I could smell the garlic from OUTSIDE when I got home from work. It was a good pot roast.
Its Ho-oh!

Not an awesome model design from an execution standpoint but looks great from here!

Also it was pot roast night.

my takeaway is that going out to protests and organizing with your community like minneapolis has shown us and getting offline, where people are paid to parrot government propaganda, is the best action you can do and reminds you the average person isn’t insane or evil

Yes, this. Can we please stop competing to see who can doom the hardest?
Okay folks, one thing you need to understand about social media is that in participating in it *you* are creating rhetoric.

My recent posts are trying to address that fact and maybe get you to think a little bit harder about what your rhetoric might encourage or discourage.
