Hey everyone. The Allumeria Steam page is currently down because Microsoft has filed a false DMCA claim on it. They sent an email earlier today claiming that this screenshot infringes on their copyright. I am taking a moment to figure out what my path is going forward, will update soon. #gamedev

Hearing the terrible news of layoffs at Riot centered around 2XKO just reinforces my opinion that Riot is absolutely terrible at making business decisions outside of League and Arcane
Maybe dont throw people out when they dont make a billion dollars after only being launched for 2 weeks

Feel like there has been a lot of “conspiracy theorists were right” but what actually happened was victims were and that’s much harder to accept for most people
This conspiratorial thinking is actually the easy way out that ignores addressing real, solvable problems that contribute to victim’s deaths. It ignores failures of the justice system, not fictional shadowy figures and assassins, to keep her safe. It ignores how she was punished by the courts

I’m not arguing with no account defending AI. My grandmother lives in an area being environmentally compromised currently by an ai data center. I remember the color of the lake before they built it and the sludge I see in it when I go to see her. Shut the fuck up about “the benefits of AI” forever.

My suspicions seem to be correct.
The lack of major features and the many technical changes lead me to believe that this drop is another Buzzy Bees situation.
As in, it exists primarily to refine the code and prepare for FUTURE additions rather than adding new things.

I'm worried that the broader public isn't really understanding the Epstein Files. The problem isn't that everyone in the files is a secret pedophile, it's that all the people are corresponding with him because they *don't care that he's a pedophile*. It's a story of elite impunity.
You can look at the Epstein files and conclude that only bad people have billions of dollars, but I think it’s also possible that having billions of dollars cauterizes your humanity
