I don’t know if anyone is keeping score but groups affiliated with Frey and Joe Rad have now been found guilty of campaign violations at least twice in this election cycle.That doesn’t even count the one guilty guy they were helping lying about his residence for caucusing. Sheesh!

the examples she uses are more products of capitalism than they are “racism.”

I think her fear of the DSA community is misplaced (I think the general fear of the DSA community is misplaced).

I tried to get my hands on Ethan Rutherford's novel (a finalist for the National Book Award) North Sun or The Voyage of the Whaleship Esther, but the bookstore didn't have any copies at the moment.
I didn't order a copy from the bookstore, because I had just acquired two other books. moderation!

folks, if you like weird fiction in translation (or in general), you need to be reading Bora Chung. her story collections Your Utopia and Cursed Bunny are both very much worth your time.

I went to the bookstore and picked up my preordered copy of Thomas Pynchon's new novel, Shadow Ticket (on shelves today).
I also bought a sandwich at the cheese shop. the sandwich had chèvre, roasted broccolini, tomatillo jam, and e.v.o.o..
it was a very good sandwich.
not a bad start to tuesday.
