I’m pretty sure because they don’t have time to do much outside of politics AND if they do talk about their personal interests they get screamed at for doing something personal instead of working on healthcare, the economy, abortion rights, housing, impeachment, transportation, taxes, corruption…
Politicians’ podcasts would probably receive more attention if they weren’t all just political conversations with their other politician friends.
I have no interest in hearing weekly versions of their stump, but I’d very likely listen in if they reviewed movies or just talked about sports.

Biden regulated data centers requiring they re-use water, use renewable energy and be built on Department of Defense and Department of Energy land. Trump removed those regulations so now they’re using up peoples well water and polluting the land and air, and creating noise and light pollution.
