If you run D&D 5e, you might find that your boss monsters die easily. There's actually a simple reason for that!
The game was built around the assumption that characters would engage in about 20 rounds of combat between long rests.
We were probably off by a factor of 5.

My favorite form of initiative was in my buddy's EDGE OF THE EMPIRE game a few years ago.
I'm not sure if it was RAW, but it was basically normal rolls and slots, but then the players chose turn-to-turn who fulfilled what turn slots based on what they wanted to do.
I want to steal it for my game!

One of my favorite stores is #Bookmans in Flagstaff, AZ. I've spent so much time there, and it was where Caitlyn and I met — later, where I asked her to be my wife.
They are mistreating their workers. Unfair wages and no-warning firings. Do better, or you will not have support in Flagstaff.

If you have not heard, Rooster Teeth was just (re)acquired by Burnie Burns, one of the original founders, after being closed last year.
As someone who grew up watching them, replicating them, and even attending RTX 2013... this has been an amazing announcement.
