My “joke” with my wife is that we will never be able to afford to move because the home we bought at the end of 2021 at a 3.25% rate has trapped us. The house has APPRECIATED 125k in 4 years and it would be MORE EXPENSIVE to buy a CHEAPER home now due to interest rates. This is reality.
