Silent Hill f has been extraordinary about being subtle about it's connections to Silent Hill as a whole. It'd be so easy to simply copy over air raid sirens and barbed wire gore, but it absolutely doesn't. Some music is very evocative, but aside from some shared concepts it's very unique.

I think the violence is also an expression of the anger at her circumstances she's bottled up and been unable to expesss due to sexism.

Also been thinking the connection to broader SH is more about shared metaphysics rather than a direct connection to the American cult.

Someone asked for details about what a good Producer does to be good, so I took a stab at it.

Caveat: I am NOT a Producer! This is my perspective as a lead and IC. I encourage Producers to add anything I've left out.

Секвойи классные и рядом есть Joshua Tree National Park — меня в детстве очень впечатлили что деревья, что 4-метровые кактусы, но лучше доехать до Yellowstone — там прямо огонь как красиво. Но вообще учитывая текущую визовую политику Япония два раза звучит в два раза лучше!

That's an actual problem.
Clearing up an MRI can easily produce artifacts and should be reviewed by a human being that can be held accountable.

And you're correct about the overreliance.

I believe doctors that do misdiagnose systemically or are lazy to just trust the machine indeed should be sued for malpractice, independant of their use of ML.

I really wish genAI, LLMs and the current wave of bullshit AI won't kill of ML that's been useful for years before all this.

There was a case where AI was indeed misused, as it should never act as a replacement for the doctor, just another tool in their arsenal. But there are known uses of ML in medicine helping with brain tumours or lesions from what I've seen. Also ML for researching pharma is a very potent use.
