ICE has been holding a disabled Black man for a year!

Rodney Taylor is a double amputee who was days away from receiving new prosthetic legs when ICE took him.

He’s been denied his prosthetics & placed in solitary.

His health is declining.

Public outrage might save his life.

Please examine what body cams *didn’t do* to stop police violence over the last decade plus since they were initially touted as a solution and understand that some of you are now rallying behind a false solution that will be a tool of criminalization more often than anything else.

I personally don't tell people who have been fighting their hearts out daily for weeks not to celebrate wins of any size. I certainly don't do that when I've been nowhere near the place where the fight has been happening and have done little more than make some donations from miles away.

This is also one reason the pandemic was declared over when it is most definitely still ongoing & killing & disabling us en masse.

We never had a single official acknowledgment or mourning even for those lost at the height of it.

They saw us coming together & had to stop it.

And y’all LET THEM.
public grief interferes with ongoing production/consumption and the profits of billionaires and can lead to questioning the political order, so our “leaders” try to limit its expression

I just subscribed. Let’s get this over this line.
Times are tough, and some of my paid subscribers have had to cancel lately due to financial hardships. I get it, and I wish for better times for us all. Unfortunately, paid subscriptions are now dipping into unsustainable territory. I am hoping to get eight new paid subscribers before the new year.

Why has the government been closed at all if Senate Dems cave now? Didn't they say that they could not go along with throwing millions of people off health care?

What's materially changed? A *promise* is not action. ALSO fascists lie and I've been told by some Senate Dems that the GOP is fascist.

How should we destroy people?”

Love talking with my friends and comrades about making things in this current fascist era. I wasn't feeling well so hope I made some sense, lol. Thanks for having us Kelly.
I talked with @prisonculture.bsky.social and Red Schulte about the importance of zines under fascism, political education that builds power, finding collective courage, and the mistakes we’ll make along the way. Audio + transcript:

I know not everyone is who they thought they would be under a fascist, authoritarian regime. That's okay. But it's time to do more than react and post about it. It's time to get organized—including mapping or creating lines of support and defense in your community.

A good question to ask oneself politically is 'what do I need to ignore in order to maintain my commitment to x, y, and z?' Because if you, for example, need to ignore a whole group of people's humanity in order to vote for a horrible politician, then it may be too costly to your soul.
