This is the smarter version of Clinton's infamous quote that Americans prefer "strong but wrong" to "weak but right"
"Unpopular opinion on an issue most people don't really care about one way or another" is a loss leader to strengthen the electorate's trust that you believe in anything at all.

Hollywood loves our trauma. Black actors are more likely to win awards when playing roles tied to slavery, servitude, or trauma.

Lupita Nyong’o opens up about what happened after her Oscar win. Hollywood kept offering her more parts as an enslaved woman, pushing the same stereotype again and again.

Its crazy how no one is talking about the Brett Kavanaugh, Bannon, and Esptein relationship.

Those emails are full of intersting tidbits.
At least we now can summarize how Kavanaugh's debt were paid off.🤔

I’m just going to come right out and say it. The idea that the present moment “pop culture has become an oligopoly and become stuck “ is one of the dumbest things you’ve ever heard. Yes. You.

I’m as much a critic of the “monopoly” moment as ever. I’m as much a critic of “pop culture” as ever.
I’m going to listen to this. But my very heavy guess is that it’s precisely the kind of extremely stupid idea people get upon turning 35 when they think they’ve seen everything. And they think the world is in a cultural slide.
