I'm reading that Pathfinder adventure I posted a picture of at the beginning of the month & you get a bonus to checks with the angsty teenager if you offer him a hug. I love that.

Glad that I found one that works right away. Glad I've had it over the last few years especially. I'm even kind of glad for the few times I fell off from taking it because I'd somehow forgotten just how bad my brain can be without it.

As you might imagine, that's when everything finally clicked with me. That depression was a thing onto itself outside of feeling really down sometimes.

I've been (mostly) on it for a little over a decade now and I'm really glad about that.

We really need better mental health services here in the states because for so long I simply did not *understand* that depression was more than something you felt sometimes.

I only started my antidepressant because of how I felt during my divorce. A few months after, I tried going off it.

For World Mental Health Day, I wanted to share a bit of my journey.

Two years ago, I came off anti-depressants. Things were going well for me and I was in a better position to deal with life's challenges. Over the last half-year in particular, my situation has changed.

In 2003 we were young and poor, I was working at EB Games and scraped together the $$$ to get my husband-then-fiance this absurdly priced $50 Armada toy for his birthday.

I've said this before, but Armada toys were outselling POWER RANGERS, which was thought impossible at the time.

I like the Bay movies, but this franchise was going strong before & will continue to do so after.
