This is super hard to follow, and I’m not entirely sure what the actual story is, only the basic outline.
But hoo-boy does this have some of the gnarliest, most impressive practical effects I’ve seen in awhile. Truly demonic.
Recommended for that alone.

All of these are terrific films to see in a theatre, but holy cow is it awesome that Ikiru is the week of Christmas!
