I know most of the focus is on RFK Jr.'s weird horny texts, but the news that he used to spam Bill Nye with anti-vax weirdness and Bill was like, "Dude, you're you're confusing correlation for causation" is the only RFK text-message news I will ever need.

I’ve had pertussis (whooping cough) twice as an adult and it was awful, but videos of infants with whooping cough are brutal to watch.
3 infant #pertussis deaths this year in Kentucky. "Of the three infant deaths reported over the past 12 months, all three were not vaccinated, nor were their mothers."

We first tested maternal vaccination for whooping cough over 80 years ago. It's safe & effective & might have saved these babies.

People need food. Market won’t provide it. Government should. It’s literally the whole point.
Turns out Mamdani's controversial proposal for government-run supermarkets isn't so novel. Other cities also are toying with the idea to bring fresh, affordable food to communities that do not have easy access to it. Good WSJ read (gift link)

…21 people in the vaccine group and 17 in the placebo group died. … Kennedy uses [this] to claim …that your risk of death increases by 23 percent if you take the vaccine.

Kennedy refused to relent. “… Twenty-three percent all-cause mortality! … I don’t know what universe you’re living in.”
Over many interviews, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. told Michael Scherer about how he plans to remake America’s public-health system. Can he lead the scientific establishment he’s spent much of his life crusading against?

Some deeply telling quotations in here, such as “During the interview, Bovino said, “I take my orders from the executive branch.” That statement, according to the court filing, “suggests disdain for this Court’s authority to enjoin his unlawful conduct.””

There are other, more disturbing quotes. :(
