I need a reference point for context. What's normal, what's a lot of wind? I understand that direction matters, but 6mph doesn't seem unusual, or at least doesn't seem to warrant the amount of attention it got on the broadcast.

Yeah, and I only looked at his pitch selection %s this morning. I don't know if there were changes to mechanics, pitch movements, position on rubber, release point, etc.. or if his pitch selection varied relative to RHH/LHH. Could just be noise.

Might be something to it. This year he's thrown the four seamer and changeup more, sinker and cutter less. i don't know enough about his pitch shapes to understand the impact to his platoon splits, though
