In the first frame, Emma is lunging toward Todd, but looking off frame, surprised. The second has her looking down range through the spotting scope. The third frame has her look over at Todd, quizzical but aggressive. The final frame has Todd fire the rifle with a suppressed CRACK.

Sometimes when Jess and I aren't feeling well we'll try sleep it off, and Clover gets to join us on the bed when we throw a sheet over the people-blankets. The trick is getting her off again, because she knows this is a rare treat.

I've gotten quite good at catch and release with the local rain spiders, except for the one time I tried to catch one on the ceiling and it ran over my hand and down my arm to base jump to the ground 😂

As a kid I thought it would be so cool to spot tiny details like Sherlock Holmes or Jason Bourne, but I think my anxiety has just flavoured itself into hypervigilance.

People... are allowed to come up with mean names for inanimate objects. If you compare this practice to racial slurs, I'm going to think you believe people of other races hold the same concrete significance and value as inanimate objects. This is one of those slips that does not look good on anyone.
