We used to be a proper country
every UK video game in the 80s and 90s was made by a guy named like "lord wensleydale" or two guys named "the chippy twins" and was about an egg with no special abilities going on an adventure and dying immediately. it was ported to the super nintendo where everyone hated it

A parachutist in the Netherlands missed the target sports field and landed in the monkey enclosure at the local zoo. The director of the zoo remarked: "he got lucky, a hundred meters further and he'd have landed amidst the lions". Everyone involved, human or not, was OK.

I’m waiting until the steam autumn sale to buy Metaphor Refantazio, I don’t actually expect it to be on sale, but the only way for me to guarantee it is would be buying it now.

So I watched The Boy and the Heron, the colours were bright and the art was pretty. My brain is too spicy for me to have paid attention to more than that unfortunately, so really looking forward to watching it again when it cools down.

I am hungover after a night spent drinking with friends that I've not seen in too long. One of those hangovers that feel SO worth it.

Picked up Stargate SG1 again after stopping when I went on holiday. I'm right at the end of Season 7 and Stargate does clip shows REALLY well. They weave interesting parts of previous episodes (and not just epiosdes from that season) into a narriative that sets up the next, non clip show episode.

I booted up Dragon Age Origins for the first time since I was in university last night. (Over 10 years ago!) and played a bit of the mage intro. I love this game, but I've never actually finished it. I feel like this WILL be the time I do.
