Caleb: I shove my new books down my pants near my dick where Jester can’t get them!
Jester: “I’m not afraid of dicks.”
Marisha: She’s not your sister anymore.

There really was something so endearing about them being New Characters for the first time.

I’ve sworn off ever giving Wizards money and even I found that video profoundly delightful! From a purely technical standpoint the puppetry was outstanding! These people spend their weekends pretending to be dimension-hopping wizards, how are they this devoid of whimsy???

five years ago the president of the united states incited an insurrection in order to try to retain power and it is a comprehensive failure at every level - media, law enforcement, courts, politicians and most of all the voters - that he has returned to power and threatens the stability of the world

Looks like you’re trying to buck the system! Would you like help complying with The Man?

"If you want to know who took all of your money, it's the people with all of the money."

I keep thinking about this post and how it's one of the best, most succinct messages Democrats could use in 2026 campaigns.
If you want to know who took all of your money, it's the people with all of the money. Famously, we know that's people working in child care.

They’re always naming stuff after Daedalus and it never goes as well as they think it will.

Finally, one of the first introduced and coolest archetypes in Starfinder is not better on any Pathfinder martial than any Starfinder class!

the default, cringe pose of "I must support Tough Military Action because I am Tough" is both morally wrong and bad politics

I think official D&D charts show gnomes being taller than halflings and I’m glad we can all agree that they are wrong and that’s bullshit.

“Level two! Level two!”
Love the cheer, dad we haven’t had the chance to see it again. I get that D&D is rough at really low levels but come on, gimme some upstart dipshits!

Sam: Seeing one of us die—
Matt: *Unconscious.
Sam: Nope, dead forever.

Ah, accidental foreshadowing.

Watching a little bit of episode 3 before bed, it really is fun seeing them all grapple with low-level combat in a dedicated campaign for the first time. We missed to much by Vox Machina starting mid-arc, and starter 5e must be weird compared to 4 and Pathfinder.

That was cheesy and ridiculous as hell and I enjoyed every minute. Really solid special effects for early 80s (and how silly they were).

I have decided to spend my evening watching a cheesy old Shaw Brothers kungfu movie I checked out randomly from the library. Will report back

They're murderers. No need to pussyfoot around here any more. They're going to murder thousands of Americans, including babies, the elderly, and the immunocompromised.
Are you fucking kidding me.

In 2026, I will not be suffering a SINGLE FOOL who tries to say this administration’s attack on science and public health has some good will under the hood.

This is directly meant to dismantle vaccination as an intervention.
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), run by Oz and his boss, RFK Jr., will no longer require physicians to report vaccination rates.

Instead, they plan to start having doctors report if they’ve discussed “alternative” vaccine schedules.
