The thing I wish people like Carville et al would realize is that you cannot have ‘pure populist economic rage’ if you leave out the ‘woke’ bits. It doesn’t work like that.

I wish I had access to all this information when I had to watch Birth of a Nation for an Introduction to Film class back in the 90s.
DW Griffith directed BIRTH OF A NATION (1915), a virulently racist film (and neither his first nor his last one of those) that saw racist violence follow wherever it was screened.

If your film crew hates you they'll do the work & get paid, but you're fucked in ways you don't realize b/c they'll give you enough rope to hang yourself
