German discussions of gender always forget trans people.
You can’t tell if someone is trans or nonbinary based on how they look. Or if they’re cis or trans or male or female based on a name.

The POB argument also makes no sense. Naturalized US Citizens aren’t running around with the German Democratic Republic in their passport anymore. Ukrainian-Americans born in the USSR don’t have USSR there. No one has Czechoslovakia in there anymore either. It’s nonsense made up to justify hatred.
This is just pure hatred towards us
Honestly one of the worst, most disturbing paragraphs — on the basis of process, substance, and effect — I’ve read in a Supreme Court order or opinion in a very long time.

I have been home since Saturday dealing with a really nasty case of strep throat. My antibiotics are only working very slowly. I haven’t been able to swallow, eat, or sleep comfortably in days. Send cat pics bc I’m out of ideas to feel better 🥲🤒
