I have learned that most of these fools come from wealthy families and/or have great connections to already wealthy investors. They have learned all they need is to use words like "disrupt" and "innovate" a few times per minute and talk with unearned confidence. It's all a sham really.

The folks in power either don’t care or need to protect themselves. The problem is some of us are empathetic. And empathy doesn’t allow us the same luxury of brushing aside the and misery our fellow humans, some children are going through. It keeps me up at night and causes anguish.

I think most of us are feeling the pain. And the most shocking thing to me is the seeming apathy of my coworkers and acquaintances over the revelations. The knowledge that no real justice will be meted out is what is really hurting us all.
