Ok but I think there's a more general principle here

Are you saying that they're trying to associate him with Israel because he's Jewish or that because he's Jewish he is associated with Israel?
February 11, 2026 at 3:58 AM
You are making that conflation you fucking bigot
February 11, 2026 at 3:56 AM
It's because it was used to advocate for the abolition of slavery
February 10, 2026 at 10:19 PM
Cool. Fuck em.
February 10, 2026 at 7:49 PM
I mean the 1619 project did make the absurd claim that independence was motivated by fear of abolition (if anything, it was the opposite).
February 10, 2026 at 7:35 PM
Gdp isn't down, you're just making shit up
February 10, 2026 at 7:16 PM
How many death and stillbirths can be attributed to DU compared to car-bombings? Probably pretty close to 0!
February 10, 2026 at 7:09 PM
You're cherry-picking outliers to win points in an internet slap fight
February 10, 2026 at 6:56 PM
There's only one estimate of excess deaths that's over 1,000,000, and none of the rest even get close
February 10, 2026 at 6:55 PM
You're engaging in black book of communism levels of good faith
February 10, 2026 at 6:50 PM
Nah I'm just a guy who thinks that when estimates of a statistic cluster around one result using the most extreme estimate is really dumb. Also I doubt you're at all consistent with attributing guilt.
February 10, 2026 at 6:49 PM
No, he wasn't. He worked for a university in a non-academic role.
February 10, 2026 at 6:24 PM
Conesensus is pretty solidly around 150-200,000 violent deaths (the vast majority of which can't be attributed to coalition forces) and under 500,000 excess death (which are hard to estimate and depend heavily on your assumptions). You're just objectively wrong.
February 10, 2026 at 6:21 PM
Your claim is that between 2006 and 2011 half a million people were killed? No, that didn't happen.
February 10, 2026 at 6:10 PM
I thought it was a million? At this rate we'll be down to 150000 in no time!
February 10, 2026 at 6:05 PM
I was like 9 in 2003, what do you think?
February 10, 2026 at 6:03 PM
Lmao fucking codepink, this shit is too funny
February 10, 2026 at 6:02 PM
Frankly, no we did not. The median estimate of excess death is like 150,000, and that is mostly victims of sectarian groups the US was fighting against.
