This is the exact opposite of my experience in “professional America.”

Also worth noting that the growing share of women in the workforce came about because women started going to college at far higher rates than men, who for decades now have been yelled at to take blue-collar jobs instead.
One problem with this take is the number of high profile white millennial men in the media...

Rob Reiner was one of the key people behind the effort to go to court to overturn California's anti-marriage equality Proposition 8 when it passed in 2008.

Working with Chad Griffin, they founded the American Foundation for Equal Rights and got Ted Olson and David Boies to team up to fight Prop 8.

I can’t believe Trump’s “Stop buying your children so many toys” approach isn’t working around Christmas!
Trump: "You can give up certain products. You could give up pencils. Because under the China policy, every child can get 37 pencils. They only need 1 or 2. They don't need that many. You always need steel. You don't need 37 dolls for your daughter. 2 or 3 is nice. So we're doing things right."

With Trump, it's so common that most Americans don't even notice it now.
Trump during his Thanksgiving call with service members: "We're ordered a lot of Coast Guard cutters. Brand new, beautiful, the best machines in the world. I'm a looks person. I wanted the hull to be perfect. You know, I sort of redesigned the hull a little bit. The hulls. But we ordered a lot."
