The debate on prohibiting speech can only happen in a society where speech is free. When speech is outlawed, it remains forever taboo because we outlaw the very ability to discuss it, which is akin to severing our own humanity. Denying thoughts doesn’t erase them, censorship is coerced repression.

No book should ever be banned, no drawing outlawed, no speech forbidden. We should only punish actions that cause material harm to others. Not thoughts, never feelings.
