I was invited to write a commentary about a great meta-analysis by Pan et al. that uses MET dose-responses to examine executive functions in children with ADHD. My doctoral student, Michelle Lim, joined me in writing this piece, where we recommend some future considerations for our field.

I've been convinced for years that bots in online research are much more sophisticated than we think they are. Our current "best practices" are absolutely obsolete. This should be required reading for anyone collecting, or publishing from, online data. Seriously.

Unsurprisingly, it’s women dominated professions being targeted.

It’s also a disability rights issue as they’re targeting paramedical programs. NPs, PTs, SLPs & social work

If RFK issued a rule forbidding surgeons from using antiseptic instrument cleaners... well yeah I guess that would be "challenging orthodoxy." Another phrase is "killing people."
Breaking News: Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said he personally instructed the CDC to abandon its position that vaccines do not cause autism. The move underscores his determination to challenge scientific orthodoxy — in this case, that vaccines save lives — and bend the health department to his will.

I wrote a piece for The Conversation on the importance of SNAP for reducing food insecurity and improving child health. I’d love it if you would read and share!
Recent SNAP cuts and the government shutdown are disrupting food access for millions of children. A developmental psychologist explains why this matters: food insecurity in childhood predicts higher cardiovascular risks in adulthood, worse mental health and academic problems. buff.ly/GEHkiZr
SNAP benefits have been cut and disrupted – causing more kids to go without enough healthy food and harming child development
Having stable access to nutritious food sets children up for better mental and physical health into adulthood.
