This is your daily reminder it’s not “unrest” in Minnesota.

It’s an entire state peacefully resisting military occupation and documenting the violent abduction of our neighbors.

Call your reps.
So the House is going to vote TOMORROW on the DHS funding bill that includes funding for ICE.

There's a real chance we can get Dems to vote NO on any bill with ICE funding to sink it.

Once it goes to the Senate we likely lose this chance.

24 hours. Go.

The United States government used armed thugs to kidnap a 5-year-old child off an American street, separate him from his dad, traffic him to another state, and sling him into a scary & unsafe concentration camp.

"This is not who we are!!!"

Yes, unfortunately, it now is.
Here’s the report from KARE. The boy is five-year-old Liam Ramos.

The sadistic ICE agent on the left gratuitously sprayed a chemical irritant directly into the face of protestor after that protester had already been pinned to the ground by three other ICE agents. Vile, out-of-control goons.

ICE not allowing agents to have unsupervised copies of ICE policies or to take any notes is an admission by ICE that it knows the policies are illegal.

The lesson of history is that tyrants cannot be appeased.

Appeasement only feeds their insatiable hunger for power.

Tyrants prey on people who feel unsafe and vulnerable.

But without mass submission, a tyrant is powerless.

Remember this.

Whistleblowers just shared a memo showing DHS instructing ICE to force their way into peoples' houses without a proper warrant. Why is this not on all the networks right now? This is a criminal conspiracy to violate rights under color of law.

He's always been a liar and a blowhard, but it's now obvious to the entire world that Trump is both demented and insane. The fact that he isn't removed immediately is an embarrassment to our entire country.

And, no, he won't get better. He will only get worse over time.
.@PabloReports: How big of a factor is Trump’s mental decline after what he has been saying in Davos?

Beyer: It’s very significant. Sadly, cognitive decline doesn’t get better. It’s only going to get worse in the weeks to come.

🚨HOLY CRAP. An ICE whistleblower just revealed a secret memo authorizing ICE officers to break into homes without a judicial warrant, which DHS's own legal training materials say is unconstitutional!

ICE then hid the memo from the public, passing it along by word of mouth and private conversation.

I'd just add I don't think the crisis is at all over, because Trump never sticks to agreements just because they're conventionally considered binding. The crisis will only be over when his regime is dislodged from Washington, if then.
If Europe found a way for him to save face and move on, great. But Carney's speech was still spoken and was still true. The bell has rung.
