taking some small merch to a show you aren't tabling at is one thing (especially if you're only doing it to give it away/trade with friends you know) but my god do not do this. i haven't been to a lot of cons lately but it's always awkward to have to turn down a trade from a complete stranger!
In this economy, I really do not appreciate the increase in con attendees (not vendors) asking me if I want to trade their stickers for my merch.
It would be ONE thing if they tended to purchase from me when I reject the trade, but I think I was 0 for 10.
