I think the M1 might be the most frustrating motorway in the world. 4 lanes, the first two typically empty whilst the matrix signs slow the limit to 60 BECAUSE nobody WILL MOVE THE FUCK OVER

There’s a significantly higher appeal of moving from Brighton to Chelsea/London - they have a lot of ambition and will pay more than Newcastle.

Isak needs to ask himself if he’ll win anything else if he hangs around Newcastle for the best years of his career.
Chelsea have reached an agreement with Brighton & Hove Albion to sign Joao Pedro.

The 23-year-old Brazilian was targeted by Chelsea and Newcastle United but he only wanted to join the west London side.

LFC have a great chance next season with City and Chelsea playing in this meaningless tournament. Money is pointless if your players are exhausted.

Good interview. I like that he doesn’t get involved in decisions and leaves it to the team.

And when all those signings are adjusted for inflation they all exceed Wirtz’s fee.
City spend £100m on Grealish. Arsenal spend £100m on Rice. Chelsea spend £100m each on Caicedo and Fernandez. All of that was good business and a statement of intent, top clubs flexing their muscle.

Liverpool spend £100m on Wirtz and now its "OH LIVARPOOL ARE TRYING TO BUY TEH LEEG AND OVERSPENDIN"

Love how unceremonious the Wirtz announcement was. No needless fluff aka 2 minute MTV-like hype shenanigans. Just the usual and ordinary stuff.

We may play heavy metal football but we don’t present players like rockstars.

I love how understated the Wirtz announcement was despite being a record fee. We're just going to let his talent do the talking rather than make a big song and dance about it.
