Right?? It took me completely by surprise! I got to choose a "core" of the wand to imbue it with certain magic. I chose nymph hair to aid in illusion magic, the mesmer's specialty. ^_^

It made what could've been a simple transaction into an experience, which makes my wand so much more special. 🥺

Renaissance Fair loot! I'm slowly trying to build a costume based on the mesmer class from Guild Wars 1 and 2. I bought a gorgeous wand that involved a whole ceremony to forge a pact with it. I love being a nerd. 🥰

I recently had a wonderful time in the Adirondack Mountains and the New York Renaissance Fair! 😊

Despite me joking how Edwin's a hobo, he actually has the BEST house! 🌳

He lives in a giant semi-sentient tree that has expanded itself to allow Edwin to live in. A fireplace, hanging wisteria, a balcony! Its his sanctuary and silent friend. 🥺
