My dream is Momoko launching her own thing at, like, Image. Or maybe somewhere like Boom! if that fits her better.
But if she’s happy to keep working in an environment like Marvel, I’m all in for whatever her next project is there.

Anyways. Sometime after Ultimate Finale comes out, I’m definitely gonna run through all of Momoko’s work in this world. As much as I think there should eventually be collections with all the titles together, I’d also love to see a complete single volume of just UXM.

I don’t know what will happen with these characters in Ultimate Endgame (and don’t currently care; I’ll get to that eventually). And dunno what Momoko’s material in Ultimate Finale will do.
But, to me, there’s an intentionality to UXM#24 that’s worth reflecting on thematically.

I understand why people are exhausted by AI hype, and why those of us squarely in the corner of "human dignity uber alles" see AI doomerism as self-serving hype, but I *really* think people on the left broadly need to start thinking seriously about the possibiltiy of the hype being...true.
