Here's your reminder that the Washington Post endorsed Trump's fascist enforcer Pam Bondi for attorney general.

Stop what you are doing and watch this video. I wish we see more people like him on our national televisions and newspapers of record rather than political pundits with nothing but hollow at best and dangerous at worst opinions.
Every American needs to watch this:

I will reiterate again, Jack Lew personally intervened to block these photographs from circulation.
The photos from a UN fact finding mission to northern Gaza which were part of a diplomatic cable suppressed by the US Ambassador to Israel, Jack Lew, have been released by Drop Site News. These are the genocidal conditions in Gaza that Lew specifically tried to hide from the White House and public.
Look at the photos. The thing I heard often working on the USAID Gaza response from our partners in Gaza was the field of dead bodies - men, women, children - that fanned out around IDF checkpoints in the Netzarim corridor. Shot by IDF soldiers for no reason (unless "for fun" counts as a reason).

I would add that anyone trying to “take over the voting” would be involved in a criminal conspiracy. Anyone whose mind such a thing might enter should constantly be made aware of that fact and its consequences. Especially those who do not enjoy SCOTUS-conferred immunity (i.e., everyone, save one).
The President has no authority to administer elections. '

"Take over the voting" is not a thing and courts should stop it if he tries.
Trump: "These people were brought to our country to vote, & they vote illegally. The Republicans should say, we should take over the voting in at least 15 places. The Republicans ought to nationalize the voting. We have states that I won that show I didn't win. You're gonna see something in Georgia"

typically tendentious non sequitur. sure you made this theoretical case in 2020. that doesn't have anything to do with arguing against the cases that were actually brought in New York and Colorado, or downplaying Jan 6, or saying Trump isn't a fascist bsky.app/profile/jona...
In fact, I have frequently described Trump as a career criminal and defended multiple prosecutions of him, including in a 2020 cover story that was among the first to make this case bsky.app/profile/ryan...
certainly @jonathanbchait.bsky.social has criticized Trump many times. but he has also consistently scoffed at more fervent critics of Trump, and participated in much of the effort to prevent Trump from facing legal consequences--that is, against "resistance libs"

Congress is not powerless. Democrats must unify around an actual agenda.

1. Vote no on DHS funding bill.

2. Repeal the multi-year $75 billion funding for ICE.

3. End qualified immunity for ICE agents.

4. Investigate and prosecute every single ICE agent who broke the law.

Attorney General Pam Bondi: "Our country was founded on law enforcement"
Bondi: "It's extremely organized. The signs they have are all matching, they're well written. And look at what's happening today. How did these people go out & get gas masks? These protesters. Would you know how to walk out on the street and buy a gas mask? Think about that. We're not gonna have it"

Credit to Rick Steves for putting up $2 million to do this and the other volunteers who raised money for renovations and operating costs.

These donors are real Americans and I'm proud to share a country with them.
It’s the “season of love and giving”…but this year, doesn’t it seem more like a “season of fear and taking”? Like many of you, I’ve been saddened by the human impact of draconian government budget cuts and how angry many housed Americans are at unhoused Americans.

He had this to say about the experience:

An absolute scandal compounded in this case by failure of French government and EU institutions to forcefully react and sanction in turn those who have sanctioned ICC judges and prosecutors. Makes a total mockery of FR/EU's repeated commitment to the rule of law/ICC
