Tremendous resources are being wasted, too. Agents who normally hunt down drug lords and sex traffickers are instead deployed to round up roofers and painters.

Just to get ahead of the stories here.

Wind Turbines DON'T:
- Interfere with commercial airways.
- Stop radar from determining "Friend or Foe
- Have any impact on "national security"
- Cause cancer

Anyone who spends a lot of time at young conservative conferences can tell you this is fairly common. Or who goes to a happy hour in D.C. for AEI, Heritage or any of the other big conservative think tanks.
From the right-wing Manhattan Institute's focus group of Gen Z conservatives -- just jaw-dropping stuff. We have a very sick society. www.city-journal.org/article/manh...

Trump Plays a Dangerous Hand
Under pressure and not willing to change course, POTUS is gaming the economic data of the US to serve his political purpose. Screwing with the global markets and US debt is asking for serious trouble.

If I hear one more Conservative whine about "the will of the voters". Their guy literally lost an election, lost his seat, then usurped the will of the voters in his new riding so he could manipulate the system to stay on in Parliament. Sit the #%#& down, I tire of the duplicity. #cdnpoli

Brexit was a plan stoked by Russian assets.

Russian assets now control the US government.

The current anti vaccine stance in the US and increasingly globally was initiated by Russian troll and bot farms.

Regime change in Russia is the first step to resolving these things.

Still reeling from the Stanford report on Brexit. Reduced GDP by up to 8% and investment by as much as 18%. The UK Treasury would have £40 billion more each year if Britain had remained in the EU. Devastating self-immolation.

And again, I'm one of the people who think betting hard on oil right now is a bad idea. I've written *many* columns on that.

It's not what the Carney is doing. He's doing the opposite: implementing policies (industrial carbon price, tax credits, interties) that accelerate electrification.

One finding is when applying turning point functions to unemployment by education, the trend is clear: the less-educated experience downturns sooner.

Fantastic line!
But seriously, this is a great piece about post-neoliberalism and Canada needing to find its way in the new reality.

Millions of people are living paycheck to paycheck. They're struggling with the cost of food, housing, and other basic necessities. 70% of U.S. adults say the American Dream is dead.

How does Trump respond?

By crying about how the word "affordability" is a "Democrat scam."
