Kind of bummed for a stupid reason. I got a kindle for xmas so I could read light novels w/out taking up shelf space.
Went to get Ascendance Of A Bookworm, pt 2, vol 1 and the amazon link to the kindle edition instead goes to p1 1, vol 2 -- so I still have to get it in paperback to read it. 😑

I just voted to cancel Trump’s reckless tariffs on Canada. This is a major victory for the American people and for Congress reclaiming our constitutional authority over tariffs. And, it's a defeat for Trump and Speaker Johnson, who for months blocked the House from taking this vote.

Pipevine update!!
A couple weeks ago I shared the little miracle of Pipevine flowers I had found, now look at how much they have grown!

Trying to understand: the Constitution gives Congress the power to impose tariffs. The President imposes tariffs without Congress. Congress passes a law rescinding his tariffs. The President then vetos that law. Seems like something’s wrong here.

It truly makes me sad seeing people from other countries openly express they don’t feel safe coming to the US anymore.
Especially because they’re right to feel that way. It’s not safe here anymore.
