The Wicker Man remake is different enough in setting and set-up that it, to me, doesn't feel as nearly as much as a disservice to the original as The Fog remake does despite both of those remakes being terrible.

Avoid the remake like the plague. Up there with The Wicker Man remake among terrible horror film remakes, but worse because at least The Wicker Man remake can be "so bad it's good" if you are in the right frame of mind.

Discworld didn't just save my life as a depressed teen by making me feel not so damn alone. By also helping teenage me realize the principles I truly believed in and what is truly important in life, it also saved my "soul". I owe Pratchett my life in more ways than one.
