There are communist countries and dictatorships that don't treat Americans this way.
Trump is doing it to citizens of our close allies.
A lot of tourists understandably won't trust Trump's thought police with that information.
They'll stay away, and our economy will suffer.

Probably for me personally, Endwalker taught me not to strive for perfection as you’ll never get there, but to strive for better. Always try to do good wherever you can.
Dawntrail taught my WoL however that being in the background and just listening to people and their lives is great.
