I took this before the football/soccer team I follow (Tottenham Hotspurs) played in the 2025 Europa League final. I sort of wanted my WoL in a silly way show her support. The moon felt like a fun location.

Probably my biggest issue with the generative side of this is who is pushing for it and it always feels like it’s the side that thinks the line can go infinitely up regardless of quality. Great thread to read to understand all of this on the anime side.
Let me give some insight on this, as a producer in the dub industry who worked with major streamers, who's witnessed first-hand where this push for AI is coming from.

Alright. Now going back to bed. Second half showed intent vs the first half. Wasn’t enough to turn the game around and doesn’t forgive that first half. I do think Frank can pull this around, but how I don’t quite know. I think for him, he may just need to take big risks.

So I get why the board went with Frank: beyond the data, he’s proven he can maintain a team to a consistent position in the Prem. For obvious reasons that’s important to the board as I’ve previously written (position = money = asset maintains value).

At this point in my football/soccer watching, the one thing I wish I could find is an overlay on a pitch that showed which position a shot is taken adds to an xG. I think that might clear up a lot for me on that stat and maybe feel it’s more valuable. If anyone has that, I’d love to see it.

Okay. After thinking on the NLD performance, reading a full presser, and having some sleep, I think I’ve got these thoughts:
1. I think the thing that Frank needs to figure out is to let go of his balanced approach at times. I get it’s why he was hired, but just be a bit off balance at times.
