Why do a party with a massive majority need to water down a key manifesto promise to get it through parliament?

If the Lords are the issue, use this as the justification to reform them - another promise that isn’t happen.

This is a national disgrace and ostensibly rewards the police for delaying tactics and hiding behind a wall of silence. They ought to remember their oath, and that people can only be policed by consent that is rapidly eroding.

That would bring in hundred of billions, it is time for the richest to pay what everyone else has been paying their whole lives.
