I must say, as an unrepentant atheist, "Wake Up Dead Man" is among the best Catholic movies I've ever seen. It works great as a fun mystery but it's an extremely pointed conversation about faith, guilt, and mercy and the evil people who would exploit the faith, guilt, and mercy of others.

They hit the nail on the head. Puberty blockers are typically prescribed for cis youth to alleviate the mental stress of starting puberty before their peers. Most of the time, there's no actual physical issue with early puberty unless it's extremely early.
