A family friend was telling us about what her husband shared about his experience in Broadview before he was deported back to Mexico. She's been sharing to friends and family because she's just in disbelief & horror what her husband told her. She wasn't able to talk to him until he was in Mexico.

I was laid off from Teen Vogue today along with multiple other staffers, and today is my last day.

certainly more to come from me when the dust has settled more, but to my knowledge, after today, there will be no politics staffers at Teen Vogue.

Unfortunately, if you call out fascists and authoritarians for being hypocritical they don't care.

The impunity is the point.

I keep seeing "gun control" responses from the left to the Kirk shooting.

Which would likely prevent some mass shootings.

But not assassinations by citizens who otherwise likely have very clean records, and were likely trained by our own military.

I completely understand that these professionals have been ordered to cross an ethical line and refuse via quitting.

I just worry about how this leaves these positions wide open to be filled with more quacks and charlatans

Strategically would it have been better to obstruct by staying and loafing?
CDC scientists receive a heroes welcome after walking out today.

So my medicine, which currently costs $12,860 a month (up 18% under dictraitor don) will cost $32,150 a month. How is that reducing the price 1500%?

A drug that was on Biden’s negotiating list that dictraitor killed.

Massive inflation on its way.

I had trouble sleeping last night, and found myself thinking about our party infrastructure

The DNC can't save us. They are as bound to oligarchs as anyone. They look and are weak and out of touch

The biggest obstacle to 'draining the swamp' - a *real* problem - is campaign finance reform

Keep this in mind about economics: a messy divorce generates more GDP than a typical wedding. Building a bomb improves the numbers much more than feeding a child.

ok I decided to actually read up a bit on the Epstein case and my initial takeaway is that a great way to protect women and children from sexual predation would be to prosecute white collar crime

I am very proud of what we did on June 14th. But it won't fix anything.

Nothing meaningful will change until enough people are ready to:

Lose their job
Give away all savings
Go to jail
Go to prison
Risk hospitalization
Risk brain damage
Risk death

In their non-violent pursuit to end this.

Because Trump's goal is violating consent.

He wouldn't be interested in a country that wanted to join the US.

He is a rapist felon who has joined up with his like minds bc they are terrified we were about to create a "woke" system that knew all their tricks and voided them.
Why would we want to join a country who isn’t even in the top 20 for quality of life when we’re top 5?
