Does anyone remember when all companies were pulling out of Argentina about 15 or 20 years ago because its economy was in the toilet and was had been in there for years?!!!! WTF? There was also a Supreme Court decision related to this and I think the US got screwed. It has something to do with bonds

Apparently the $20 billion for Argentina was just the beginning of the US bailout according to Bessent today, since so many American oligarchs have big investments there that they can’t afford to lose.

none of this is normal. presidents aren’t supposed to shred the Constitution — nor are they supposed to wage war against their own people.
