We left Portland (voluntarily) to come back to the midwest so the baby could grow up around their family, and she's been interviewing at local stations. We think she'll be getting an offer soon!

That's funny because my wife was a newscast director at a CBS affiliate until a few weeks ago and she asked for a raise every year and was told every time that it wasn't in the budget. Good to know they finally found some money in the budget, at least for the important things !!!!
