Idiocracy was meant to be a satire, not an instruction manual.
Behold, the power of A.I....

Considering doing the @thestorygraph.com Reads The World 2026 challenge as I felt the 2025 challenge genuinely broadened my perspective and the search for books from different countries made me more aware of books I would have previously missed. A bit disappointed

Fox reports that that while many of the redactions to the Epstein Files were made to protect victims’ identities, “the same redaction standards were applied to politically exposed individuals and government officials.”

In other words, DOJ admits that they edited Trump and his pals out.

All Trump supporters must acknowledge this. Their backing of the president means that they support the forced transfer of millions of Ukrainians from a democracy to a corrupt and brutal dictatorship.
This is the America you have made. Own it.

PP calling out others for fuelling hate? I mean, that's pretty much his calling card. I can't think of another Canadian politician more well-known for promoting hate only to try to make personal gains.

Putin sits in Moscow claiming that his armies have taken a town that the Ukrainian president is personally visiting. There are cowardly tyrants and there are courageous elected leaders and it is good to know the difference.
Putin said Russia had taken Kupiansk weeks ago.

Today, Zelenskyy visited Ukrainian troops there.

A majority of Indiana Senate Republicans stood together to reject Trump’s mob-boss politics.

There is more power in standing up to a corrupt, unpopular administration rather than playing its game.

Law firms, universities, foundations, and media companies should take note.

Day 1387 of this appalling war in Europe.
Started by Putin because he was certain the US + Europe were too timid to stop him.

Numerous opportunities were missed and having now found an ally in Trump, look like he may be right (again)

Why don't US reporters ask trump about putin's backing of Venezuela or how russia is sending them military aid? This should be a Dem talking point as well, used to drive a wedge between the fascist and wanna-be fascist.

The Supreme Court is a corrupt, illegitimate institution governed by six right-wing hacks who value advancing Republican political agendas and politicians over any semblance of law or process.

Democrats need a plan to address that reality.

Amazon stopped reporting its total energy consumption about two years ago, but I've estimated it here using the raw emissions data they've reported (and buried deep in hard-to-find places)

Their unadjusted emissions are many times higher than their declared:

In the 1940s, Nazis conquered most of Europe and a lot of the world.
From 2014-2025 Putin's rabble still hasn't taken Donetsk.
The Nazis were pushed back after the US joined the side of decency. Putin's neo-Nazis would also suffer the same fate if Trump had a spine or a heart.
