1/Well, I call my 1st shelter shift a success. These 60 year old bones made it on a cot with a "Campfire Girl Camp" style mat: easily wiped down, with thick foam inside. My favorite part: chatting w/the folx we served, swapping stories w/them, petting a pibble mix named Buddha. I hope they need me

Apricot Jelly (Guepinia helvelloides) is a salmon-pink, ear-shaped, gelatinous fungus and always reminds me of rose petals. Rubbery in texture, is edible, and may be eaten raw with salads, pickled, or candied. Fruit in the late Summer and usually after a heavy rain.
