I try to remember that most of what I enjoy in the world is not made by people who are friends or family. Even when these things were made not to directly benefit me, they do! We are not strangers to each other. We owe each other so much.
I often think about how I'm standing on the shoulders of those who came before me and those who come after are standing on mine.
It's beautiful how connected we are even if not directly.

Just went through immigration in UK. So pleasant, zero wait, the officer makes weather chit chat and welcomes me back and commends me on my preparedness for British weather. I am carrying a coat.
