whether it is gaza, the west bank, lebanon, syria, or iran, if israel takes its sights off one it is only to put them on another. the nature of zionism is to wage war, it cannot be satisfied with uneasy truces. but it will not win. zionism and us hegemony will fall, and palestine will be free.

the best we can hope for the ceasefire, if it actually happens, is for it to hold long enough for the palestinian people and the palestinian resistance to recover their strength. we know that zionism is incompatible with justice but it is also incompatible with any kind of peace.

if the ceasefire happens - which is a very big if - it will only be the beginning. palestine needs justice, and it needs freedom. zionism must end.
