Gavin Newsom had Ben Shapiro on his podcast 10 days ago where he was cozying up to Shapiro. Newsom also said that ICE aren't terrorists, walking back his claim from days prior and also said there is no genocide in Palestine.

it is absolutely crucial that we do not get dragged down into good/bad protestor dichotomies. it is the easiest way to do the feds work for them by dividing our own coalition into rival factions. different situations call for different tactics. some of which will be shocking to polite society.

to wit: white supremacists are allowed to carry guns to enforce their rule but the government can murder those opposed to white supremacy if they have a gun. there is no contradiction for them.
“Everyone should be allowed to carry a gun for their safety but the government can murder you in the street if you have a gun” is an incredible endpoint for the conservative moment
